Under the aegis of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Fire-Rescuers was created in autumn 2001 and the Ministry of Justice registered it on December 27, 2001.
BYPOFR has its own Statute and today it accounts for over 38 thousand members.
The top priorities of this organization are civil and patriotic education, life safety training of younger generation, raising the image of fire-rescuers, raising health and ecological awareness among the young fellow citizens, personality development.
For the purposes mentioned above, the Organization is planning to target secondary schools and young fire-rescuers clubs in its activities.
