Clubs of young fire-rescuers
   
  Under the aegis of the Ministry for Emergency Situations 2236 clubs of young fire-rescuers are functioning in the Republic uniting in 5972 circles and sections over 72 thousand persons. Work of clubs is conducted according to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 13.10.95 ¹571 "On approval of provisions concerning freelance fire brigades and fire-safety inspections of dwellings in inhabited areas".

Their objectives are education of schoolchildren on issues of life safety, fire-fighting and search and rescue equipment, emergency response training. In near future the clubs are going to lay the basis for Belarusian Non-profit Youth Organization of Fire Rescuers.

The clubs function in accordance with the Regulations on clubs of young fire-rescuers.

The work of clubs of young fire-rescuers is annually reviewed at the National meeting of young fire rescuers, conducted at the National Recreation Children's Camp "Zubrionok"("Little Bison Calf").
